Nourished Beginnings gives you the opportunity to prepare prenatally, establish a personalized plan, and have an experienced IBCLC in your corner during those early postpartum weeks.

    • I’ll answer any questions you have about the prenatal breastfeeding course provided. We’ll talk through your health history, including pregnancy experience, any past breastfeeding experiences, and your feeding goals for your upcoming journey. Together we’ll make a plan for a confident start to feeding

    • Hands-on support with latch and positioning in the early postpartum period

    • Guidance on early feeding patterns and normal newborn behavior in the first days and weeks

    • Personalized support for questions and early feeding concerns as they arise

  • Visit 1: Prenatal consultation

    Visit 2: Occurs within the first week after birth to assess latch, feeding effectiveness, and early weight gain. We’ll create a personalized care plan, ensure baby is feeding well, and address your questions and concerns while supporting a confident start to breastfeeding.

    • One designated feeding expert to answer any and all questions

    • 2 weeks of unlimited support via private text and voice messaging

    • Your support system and cheerleader as you navigate the challenges and joys in the early postpartum days

Designed for families who want a strong start, Nourished Beginnings combines prenatal preparation with personalized postpartum support to help you navigate the early days of breastfeeding. You'll receive 1:1 guidance before and after birth, providing the reassurance and support needed to establish a comfortable and successful feeding relationship with your baby.

Insurance & Payment

I am currently in-network with Aetna for individual lactation consultations. Aetna clients using their insurance benefits will need to book individual consultations. Packages are available to Aetna clients who choose to self-pay.

Cigna clients: I accept Wildflower Health for eligible Cigna members, which may cover a portion of your lactation care.

Payment is collected upfront and I will submit your out-of-network insurance claim on your behalf. Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to understand your benefits. I also accept HSA & FSA payments.

Lactation care is recognized as a covered preventive service under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Per the Affordable Care Act, lactation care is mandated to be covered by most insurance plans, however companies vary in the care that they cover.
